#Phoenix Lab name and Solo name

So I named my character Kc, then when I created a phoenix account ig it didn't reach 3 letters so I added Kc1 and now that's what they call me when I play solo, if I'm not playing multiplayer I wish my name could just stay as Kc for the display name in solo game

I did the same and the dialogue is weird. I thought it was just a name to make an phoenix lab account, not the name the characters refer me as 🤣

So far this is the biggest frustration for me. Why on earth are we not prompted at character creation to input the name ourselves.

And I should not have had to set up an account just to designate a name. Very odd design choice to me haha. Anyway.

I don't have any interest in multiplayer, but because I didn't want to change my Steam name, I had to make an account for my PC game. Very frustrating.

I had no idea the account name would be used as my player name, so I'm called okeythen in multiplayer while my friends have "normal" names cry1

This is my biggest gripe with the entire game. Them calling me “lovelaurenemily” because my character name is tied to my gamer tag is such a turn off tbh.

Adding to this, I have 50 hours in my solo game as my Switch name- then I decided to play online with my friend once, had to make a PL account, and named the account the name I wanted to be known as online. When I loaded my solo-game back up, it automatically logged into my PL account and changed my in-game name to the PL account name 😑 I like role playing that the characters in each save are each unique persons, so this is extremely frustrating for me. In order to turn the internet off on my Switch, I also have to get up and un-dock it, because the Switch won’t allow you to use Airplane mode while it is docked. Also, the game won’t launch unless it’s connected to the internet because I play on a Switch that is considered “secondary” so it doesn’t launch games unless there’s internet connection. This is overall creating a stressful experience for me.

I play on Switch and it decides to change between my PL and Nintendo account names for seemingly no reason. I'm constantly connected to the internet at home so it shouldn't reasonably lose the PL connection but sometimes I'll go a few minutes between talking to NPCs and they'll call me by both names within that time lol
