you can still update the drivers, it most prob comes in a motherboard driver update

Did you ever fix it? I've been playing gmod for years and I've never seen this happen. Does only gmod have this problem? What about other source games? CSS, HL2?

Maybe you're on fullscreen and it needs to be windowed?

Your GPU might not be able to handle displaying at higher resolutions
