Figured

#

anyway to bypass if so how ?

preventing the exact thing you're trying to do

or its impossible

don't try to steal maps lol

hushed pasture

telling it to the wrong person, just trying to help a friend lol

then tell your friend that the creator of that map clearly doesn't want people to decompile it

but the issue is my amigo became a mapper for this community and the owner wants to still use his old mappers maps so im just trying to help him edit them but cant bc of the protection

#

just thought there was a way to get it taken off

#

do you think talking to the original mapper will help?

#

of the map

you'd have to get the original mapper to give you the VMF

BSPSource automatically bypasses VMEX protection (most of the time) so it shouldn't be an issue. If the map is that ancient to have VMEX protection its likely the original creator isn't going to respond to be able to help you out (but try to get in the habit of asking before decompiling, most mappers are friendly).

That's BSPSource right there
