Hammer is not compiling map, no error in log. | Source Engine | Page 1

It was working fine and now all of a sudden it just does not compile. I run the compiler, it does its thing, but the resulting map is not updated. I've restarted gmod and hammer multiple times, run it when gmod is closed, nothing works.

no idea what the problem is, poked around in the compile window it now works
