Brought up by @elder radish , tested with Scorching Scimitars. If a Shadow Fusion is available in your hand, the spell will automatically attack the first selected target, like a regular Single Target spell, and doesn't allow you to select multiple targets.

Second video shows the fused spell, Shade Scimitars, functioning correctly.

Does not occur if a shadow fusion isn't available in hand (i.e no Dark creature spell in hand)

Also possibly worth noting you can't damage enchant the fused version but can the unfused

will test that in a moment

This video shows two things

  • Shadow-fused Select-Target spell cannot be enchanted with Epic (regular Shadow-fused spells can as far as i can tell)
  • Select-Target unfused spell works as expected if shadow fusion isn't in hand, even if it's available with unpulled cards (yellow border around card)
