Whenever you seem to find a good spot for the chat box to sit, - regardless of visibility - it seems like something else ends up being there already. If there was a spot for the chat to sit where nothing else would over/underlap, this would aleviate a big source of stress.
On the topic of UI elements, the potions should adopt a similar style to Pirate101's Mojo Potions. Maybe Wizard101's icon could be a cauldron or maybe just one potion flask with a number indicator next to it like x1, x2, etc.

Overall a better UI/more UI customization solves all of this. We should be able to move everything wherever we want. And lock it in place
