Spells such as bee hive are not being applied to all plants within radius. Multiple incidents across multiple characters. Gardens are only 50 plants, so not a cap on spell issue.

By any chance (for whatever reason) are your plants stacked vertically?
I know that the spells have a height limit so if they are built to stack above, they may not get affected by the spell.

Is this like the all plants ones or the large area ones. I've noticed that the large area ones require that the center of plant itself, not just its plot, to work consistently
