i had an idea, that instead of the time skipping to day instead it could be an aura of peace, where less hostile entities spawn around you and that can be upgraded throughout the game where even in single player sleeping though the night is a more late game thing

an idea on to how progression could work, the first bed could take like 30 seconds of sleeping to activate, and only prevent like 50% of the enemies from spawning, and only lasts like 20 minutes. then as you progress through the game you can add resources that either decrease the amount of time needed to sleep for the effect, increase how many mobs get blocked from spawning, or make the effect last longer
