When I have balatro open it makes my entire screen small. It's not just the window with the game, my mouse can't get past the black "border" and when I tab out my screen briefly glitches before returning to normal size. Changing resolution in-game does nothing, couldn't find anything in settings. No mods installed, only happens with balatro. I tried reinstalling (twice), nothing. I don't remember messing with anything for this to happen.

Seeing that you're on a laptop, this might be related to DPI scaling
Try to go to Balatro.exe's properties and disable full screen optimizations on the compatibility tab
