Alchemist

Rare (only appears if at least one gold and/or steel card in deck)

Gold cards count as steel cards and vice versa. (Give 1.5x mult in hand, give $3 at end of round when held, trigger golden ticket and count towards steel joker, etc…)

King Midas

Rare (only appears if at least 5 gold cards in deck)

Gold cards gain +$1 when played (the $ is added to the money gained for being held in hand at end of round, and is persistent like hiker’s chips. Played instead of scored to prevent retrigger shenanigans from getting too out of hand. Plus it has the same trigger condition as the mask. Could be changed to scored if it would otherwise be too weak.)

Notes: A seemingly very powerful econ joker, with the high upfront cost of significant deck modification (making gold cards).

Multiplication Matrix

Uncommon (only appears if you have at least one mult card in your deck)

Each mult card gives +0.1 mult per mult card scored (first one scored gives 1.1x, second gives 1.2x, and so forth)

Notes: This is intended as the enhancement-specific joker for mult cards, as every other enhancement already has one. (Lucky cat, steel joker, golden ticket, glass joker) For a five card hand of all mult cards, this comes out to about 3.6 mult (albeit with the +mult from the mult cards themselves interspersed between each trigger) this does get a little nutty with retriggers, so perhaps a cap of 2x mult for the 10th score onwards.

MM was done similarly with the seasonal jokers in.. idk what mod it was; but they were pretty neat

My intent was that Midas’ extra money only boosts the amount you get when held in hand.

Gold cards normally give $3, so play a gold card, trigger midas to upgrade it, and then that gold card now gives $4 when held in hand instead of $3

Midas has no effect on golden ticket’s money
