I think it’d be cool to have a small slew of extra difficulty modifiers (similar to bindings in Hollow Knight’s Godhome) that can be toggled on and off. These would ofc be completely optional (unless we add C+++ sob) and beating a deck with a side bet gives the deck itself a sticker on the backside of its playing cards.

Side bet examples:

Striped Side Bet: Faster Scaling
-# 1 tier of scaling faster, if on purple stake+, the ante 8 small blind size is 400k
Spotted Side Bet: Recession
-# interest is given as $1 per $7 held
Plaid Side Bet: Extra Finisher Blind
-# replaces the ante 4 boss blind (ante 12, 20, 28, etc in endless)
Splattered Side Bet: Scummy Shop
-# shop rerolls scale by $2
Smeared Side Bet: Stickered Consumables
-# consumables are given a 30% chance to have a random sticker (eternal consumables can still be used up, they just can’t be sold)
Chevron Side Bet: Defunct Planets
-# planet scaling is halved, rounded down

i see i see, i hope someday we can do that with all stakes, i think the reroll one is really really though, limits what you can do with good econ by a lot

yeah, rerolls are so important, i could see rerolls starting at 6 dollars as a reasonable buff but not being able to reroll means no matter how much money you have you are stuck with what you get each shop, it punishes winning in few hands and balancing econ jokers to get the money snowballing because now you can't really use it
