You would still have +1 joker slot -1 hand, but starting on ante 0 would mean less score requirement and more time to deal with the hand loss.

Thanks! I don't really know how or why I came up with the idea, but I thought it was worth sharing cuz it doesn't really change the core of Black Deck but it does make it, like, work (I think).
