I have steam modded installed but no mods enabled i have 8 joker slots with only one negative used one ectoplasm out of a tarot pack using omen globe and no other natural negatives. as you can see by the screen shot it says card limit +1 area slot instead of negative +1 joker slot.

My best guess is its a steamodded issue, as even without mods enabled, steamodded can break the game sometimes
and the fact that this is a second bug report in the past week when there hasnt been a bug report of this issue for years is pretty big evidence of it probably being steamodded updating and breaking things

this just happened to me as well and i searched the server to see what was up with that lol
