I was mid run, got the first error message, and after closing and reopening the game, the second one will appear and I'm not sure what to do. I've tried verifying game files, removing and readding the save, and reinstalling, but nothing has fixed it.

Hmm, looks like your meta.jkr file got corrupted. That file keeps track of your unlocks/discoveries.
There's a couple of easy and hard fixes, but which one we can use depends on how much progress you already have with your discoveries and unlocks. How far along are you?

Hmm yeah there's definitely some \u0000 corruption going on there. I'll see if just removing them fixes your file

No clue! meta.jkr is basically a compressed (https://chromestatus.com/feature/5172771293233152) string, and once I unzipped it, some characters showed up as \u0000 instead of the expected alphanumerical characters

I mightve miscounted on the jokers but everything else seems correct
Swapped it out, and no error message!
Also seems I was right about having 8 jokers missing (Top LEFT* on page 9 and middle on page 10 have stickers for stakes but still say I have to discover them) but thats not a huge deal like i said

Oh well, I'll probably just find and pick them up again at some point, theyre not locked behind requirements so its no issue
