The Scribe

[bleak raft]

Adds a tarot card that transfers enhancements, editions, and seals from the right card to the left card. It won't transfer the blank state to the left card, allowing you to stack the transfers individually. It's basically Death, but it ignores the rank and suit of the card, and it destroys the enhancements on the original. I would love feedback on whether it would feel better if it didn't remove enhancements, or if it feels fine as is.

Honestly I've been wanting something exactly like thgis for a long time.

Does it effect both jokers and cards?

I've always found it annoying when I roll an aura or something and i get foiled!

Although I might make a spectral death for jokers, that makes you lose like $20

Originally this was going to be a card that absorbed enchantments that could then be reused to apply them, but it was way too buggy, and you couldn't use it in packs

You could do what cryptid did with code cards and let you "pull" one into your consumable slots but that wouldn't make it feel vanilla or tarot-cardy

You could make it so maybe it saved the enhancements until the next time you use the tarot card?

So it can act almost like a save state :o

That's what I did originally, and I was going to make it check for when it's used in a pack so it would just give you the card instead of trying to use it's effect, but I couldn't get it to work properly

Kinda similar to a paperback mod minor arcana card, but yours is different, and I like it :)

Is it possible to add the turning over animation? Like for the death card?

Also just wondering is it meant to say on the card right to left because death is left to right.

i added altar

it removes enhancements/editions/seals from a playing card and gives you +$5 for each removed

also i tried adding some effects to it, but I havent done much testing outside of checking if it works properly

$5 sounds like a lot on paper.
