Switch one physical edition not giving free upgrade

So I own Balatro on many platforms, but I have it physical on Nintendo Switch. I heard that free Nintendo Switch 2 upgrades were meant to be available, but as rexbinary stated, it isn't available with physical edition. This is a bug, as the intended purpose is to give those who own balatro on switch one a switch 2 upgrade, and its not doing it's purpose. I know i sound complainy, but i really just want to know if this is being fixed and when/if we can get updates on this.

I'm not trying to be mean I know that stuff like this is complicated and takes time but I just want a timeframe for when I can expect this issue to be resolved.
