Taking one of the driest, most typical puzzle games and putting it into balatro? more likely than you think

Box [Common] - This joker gains +4 Mult if moved to a unique position in the joker layout when hand played, resets at end of round (Currently +0 Mult)

Wall [Uncommon] - +160 chips, cards held in hand can't be moved (excluding sorting)

Goal [Rare] - This joker picks 4 cards from the deck at start of round, earn $25 dollars at end of round if all selected cards have been scored [Selected cards would wriggle like Loyalty Card, DNA, etc.]

Empty Tile [Common] - +40 Chips for each empty joker slot (Empty Tile included)

Sokoban Pusher [Legendary] - When hand played, this joker shuffles the positions of neighboring jokers before scoring, shuffled jokers give X2 Mult for the rest of the round (Does nothing if neighboring 1 or 0 jokers)

that better? you can control when and how the effect happens and it only affects you for the hand where you use it, while the upside of it lasts for the whole round

i think make the bonus a little bigger like x5 mult for each joker and keep the downside as is

that's pretty crazy, when you have x mult on jokers like baseball card that's particularly powerful because almost always the last thing to influence the score except for plasma deck, having a higher bonus would encourage you to play the optional "minigame" this joker offers for a hand and then just win the round

legendaries shouldn't be an instant win imo, they just get mildly powerful fun unique effects

this one requires you to make a small sacrifice in certainty to gain a really decent score bonus that you can keep building up

Oh no you misunderstand me, I've played both of those, I also consider normal sokoban fun and I have it on my phone, it's just what most people think about it

Everyone here should go play tiling forest, it's free and it's basically a demo for tiling town but it's also its own self contained game
