here are my toughts on each one :

  • toxix relationship : green joker is worse than useless (but we can sell it). overall, pretty weak
  • rotten swap : doesn't work and annoying
  • gave digger : okay
  • life after college : you can't change credit card's debt limit (but you can provide multiple credit cards to increase the debt limit)
  • curse of midas : it's the fragile challenge but even worse
  • his greed sickens me : feels too easy
  • heavy dice : i like it
  • jimbo the forbidden one : forget about it (naneinf requirement for ante 8 is just ridiculous and winning only with some jokers equipped is not a real challenge)

Toxic Relationship seems kinda interesting, but I think it'll probably just play out as a run with Burnt Joker and -1 Joker slot, so maybe add something that encourages Green Joker more?

#

Rotten Swap kind of just feels like gambling imo

#

Grave Digger sounds pretty fun, it's similar to another challenge I saw in this channel at one point

#

Life After College sounds like an interesting base, but all being in debt really does is remove interest and weaken things like Hermit and Bull/Bootstraps

#

Also yeah, what kernel said about not being able to modify credit card's values, but you could just change it to a challeng rule pretty easily

#

What if you also lose $1 at end of round for every $10 of debt you have?

#

The problem with Curse of Midas is that the cards become Gold before the hand is scored, which means all cards you play are debuffed no matter what

#

What if it was changed to "Hand does not score if all played cards are Gold Cards when played"? That would allow you to still use the held in hand effect and also fixes the problem since Midas Mask converts the cards after they're played

#

His Greed Sickens Me is +300 chips and +60 Mult right at the start of the game, I think the problem is pretty evident

#

Heavy Dice is pretty cool actually

#

I'm assuming Jimbo The Forbidden One is meant to make it impossible to win normally so you have to win by collecting all five Jokers, but I feel like there's a more elegant way to do that than setting the score to naneinf

Chicot’s Game
