so.. balatro has been crashing a lot out of the blue, i have 150 hours on it and just now im having this issues, idk what is causing it, ive reenstalled it, ive run it without cloud, i have closed medal as well and even reseted windows and this still happens, can anyone help me please?

I'm guessing this is another hardware issue, either with your CPU or RAM

(I'm guessing so because most other crashes that attempted to operate on nils seem to have been)

Do you happen to have any other screenshots of your crashes, or do you know by any chance if the other crashes would have the same text as in the screenshot or a different text?

Yeah all nil crashes would make sense. I'm just trying to establish if it's crashing in different files/locations

Yeah I believe neither of these crashes can occur if the code is executing correctly

Which could be caused by a hardware issue

Either that or a pretty big failure on the software side, somewhere, somehow

In either case, it should presumably no longer crash if you were to try and play on a different device

Reading through some older reports (like #1302644451734323262 message), you could try some similar steps like turning off XMP or overclocking if you have either enabled

i disabled xmp and no crash yet, will update later if it does
