The highest it gets in a regular deck is x1.65, in checkered deck it gets up to x2.3
Unless you specifically do as much as possible to build into it (i.e. taking suns over other arguably more valuable taro cards and buying a bunch of standard packs/magic trick) its scaling is worse that even something like Constellation

Okay but, two things, one, rares are usually meant to be a focus of the build

Two: the deck fixing is also a point for these

Even then I think I'd take trading card, consistent deck fixing is nice and all but A, it's random, so unless you're sacrificing potentially necessary hands to destroy specific cards you can't guarantee it won't affect what you're aiming for, and B, the value they bring other than deck fixing, again, is not really all that good

You could make an argument for spear and flail, and maybe shiv if you feed it at least twice every round, but again, I wouldn't take them beyond ante 10
