would this turn a straight into a straight flush or does the game not work like that
the poker hand evaluation is when you play the hand, it doesnt change from the cards changing (vampire with stones doesnt change the poker hand)
ih true
the usecase would be removing suits rather than fixing to one particular suit
At that point you can either drop it or try and play fewer hands & score fewer cards, or play more of the undesired suit so you arent fixing anything into it
I thought this through :3
trur
i might be wrong but i dont quite see the benefit this brings outside of the occaisional big idol hit or whatever
if its a random suit every round then ur 1/4 for hitting the one you want for your joker (rough gem / bloodstone / wrathful joker or whatever)
but if you played normally 1/4 cards is what you want for your joker and the odds only improve with deck fixing (which this joker would remove the benefit of)
maybe if you see it in the shop and its on what you want then you pick it up for a round i guess
the appeal would be converting out of worse/bad suits rather than into one specific suit. it would increase your odds of drawing a flush significantly, and there definitely are bad suits. black suits are generally way better than red suits, as they have blackboard & seeing double, and arrowhead and agate are better than rough gem and bloodstone.
i suppose so but i dont think there are bad suits it just depends what jokers u already have and what stake ur playing / what ur goal is
id say rough gem is the best of the 4
for gold stake 8 antes
you would be in the vast minority with that opinion then
also if ur scoring with blackboard or seeing double youd much prefer to not have the joker than have it because then you miss half the time and die
if you can live with the joker you can live without it
blackboard doesn't care about scoring suits, it cares about suits held in hand
oh all scored cards
