Literally free money early game
Mail in rebate can give you up to $20 per round even w/o deck fixing if you lucky and $10 you can get pretty easily
Oracle can get you from +$2 to +$6 per pack and you do not want take everything it offers to you
$10 can be lower i guess, but i don’t think its overpowered
Like “take that 7 of clubs instead of poly red seal glass king” yeah no
Or “dude im telling you, this ankh is sooo good for your 5 Jokers”
These are both extreme cases and even then on the average gold stake run there's plenty of scenarios where you're taking $10 over a poly red seal glass king, there just aren't enough options in packs that are actively bad for you (compared to the benefit of $10) to make this trade off balanced
Still, most of the time you are taking something you do not really need over something useful
And its still only +$12 maximum per Shop for uncommon Joker, quite balanced i think
Also, not copyable
I just don't think the downside for not picking a marked card is big enough
-5$? Or maybe make downside not economical? Like “-1 hand in next round otherwise”
weird idea, but the money making is way too good yet at the same time you'd much rather sell it after reaching max interest
I don't think it should lose you money though
maybe just gain 6$ from choosing the marked card with no penalty instead
Thats fine i guess, but i like the idea of punishing you for “not following the insight”
