#Possible New Deck Idea?

I feel like after beating gold stake I got really
bored and wanted like a new deck or suits, so this is completely my opinion on why I think they should add a deck that has 3 suits only, and these suits would be new.

Star Suit: does nothing special but is a star and introduces the new joker: Prideful Joker which would give +3 Mult per star played. High contrast would make it look yellowish

Leaf Suit: Normal suit, introduces Sloth Joker which gives +3 Mult every time a leaf card is scored. Green color with high contrast

Crown Suit: Normal suit, introduces Envious Joker which gives +3 Mult every time a crow card is scored. Orangish red color with high contrast.

The suits themselves don’t really matter it’s more about only having 3 suits which would help in some scenarios. Some jokers are subject to change or ofc be deleted like the other sinful jokers and the ones like blood stone. Smeared Joker would make it so 2 suits can be used and they count as the same suit, any combination. Ancient joker would just use the new suits. Flower pot I think it’s called? Would just make it so you need all 3 suits for the xMult, and the seeing double card would just be removed. I probably left out a few jokers there that change suits but they would also get changed or removed from this specific deck.

Overall: I think the deck would just be fun to use after being gold stake because just the new designs, but I totally see this as just not being added because why add new suits when you can just remove one for this specific deck. This was just a random idea I had that I wanted to get out, and please remember this is completely my opinion and I am aware this is dumb in most people’s eyes.

Just before I posted this I realized there isn’t a tag for new decks, I don’t know if this means you aren’t supposed to submit new deck ideas or what? So if I’m completely stupid and didn’t know you aren’t supposed to suggest these just let me know in the replies and I’ll take down the post.

I think potential new suits need to do something actually new rather than just being a basic suit

What comes to mind is Dungeons And Degenerate Gamblers where each suit does some special effect when you black jack, like hearts heal you, or clubs deal more damage.

Like a potential Balatro-friendly effect for these suits could be that every 3rd card scored could give +1 discard or something similar

Yeah I thought about that but I just didn’t know how to do it 😅

I was basing the suits on symbols of sins to match with the other ones so I couldn’t really formulate an idea for abilities.

Now I sorta have an idea for one though.

Star suit: the more cards you play with this suit the more Mult it gives at the start of scoring. This is of course in reference to Lucifer’s revolution and how they got other prideful “angels” to fight against heaven.

Leaf suit could be the opposite of this or something similar.

Crown suit could give something like gives the same amount of Mult as the amount of chips (not counting any retriggers or bonuses) that the highest ranked card gives. This would sorta just be like raised fist but for played cards.

Þe uncommons for each suit:

Bismuþ
Gains +3 mult every consecutive card wiþ star suit scored

Stalagmite
For every 3 cards of leaf suit is scored, give a random tarot card

Basalt
When a card of crown suit is scored, destroy þe next scored card unless its also of crown suit
