Ok lightly crazy idea, what if someone made a balastro inspired wordle-like? (similar to Isaacle for TBOI if you played that)
So, the game would look like this:
- The player has to input a joker onto the box
- Then the game would go over a couple of the Joker's attributes in order to categorize their effect
- The player has to get the joker of the day correctly based on the clues given with the categorization of the jokers they input
- If an attribute (for instance +chips) is part of the joker, the square will be green, otherwise it will be red
- There's a shop section on the side, always accessible
- There will be 10 tries, more on it below
The initial possible categories are:
Money, +Chips, +Mult, xMult, Scaling, While Held, Destroying, Generation.
The shop's existence is the reason why these categories are broad, because once the player keeps making wrong guesses, they will gain money (1$ per guess)
On the shop, there will be two vouchers:
Tier 1: Cluemaster - Costs 3$
Tier 2: Sherlock - Costs 3$, requires Cluemaster
Both vouchers would add more specific categories that the joker you guess can display, the vouchers are optional so if the player wants to challenge themselves, let them go for it
-# Debate on whether or not it should update past guesses as well
The voucher-locked categories are:
(T1) Cluemaster - Poker Hand Specific, Suit Specific, Rank Specific, Boss Blind, RNG/Chances, Discard, Hand Size, Face Cards, Retriggering
(T2) Sherlock - Condition Bending, Rarity, Round's First/Last, Copy, Levelling, Exchange, Food, Sell Related
The reason why they're voucher locked is so that the more blatant and narrower tips aren't displayed instantly, cuz if you guess Triboulet and you instantly see the "Legendary Rarity" and "XMult" as correct then you win in less than 4 guesses
Any questions ask away
