Weird phrasing I'm sure someone else has a better phrasing idea but essentially steel cards won't be scored if you play them, but when they're held in hand they'll give x2 mult instead of x1.5

I think it means that they won’t score like a normal card, but in that case it’s barely even a downside. Also shoutout to how this is worse than Mime since Mime makes steel cards 2.25x

Yea that's what it means
The thought was that you can't make too many of your cards steel cards cause if you do then a completely nonscoring hand won't play so you won't get the mult from the held in hand steel cards

debuffed cards still count for your poker hand though
they're scored, they just dont have any effect
if these don't score at all then it wouldn't be an issue though, if you play zero cards then either there is no hand being played and it would get thrown away a la psychic, or it would only be a high card with no actual card triggering because there is no other hand present
