Kinda sheet, so @tepid valley can ehh this

You have a 20 mana cap, and can only cast 1 spell per blind, during a blind

Every ante you get 2 mana, with that, you can siphon it into a total of 10 different spells:

Conjure - 1 Mana
Create a random tarot card

Telekinesis - 1 Mana
Make 3 stone cards in your hand

Rage - 2 Mana
Retrigger all cards for 2 hands

Meteor - 2 Mana
Make 3 planet cards for random hands

Memory Wipe - 3 Mana
Create 1 negative the Fool

Fireball - 4 Mana
Destroy entire hand and draw a new hand

Lightning - 5 Mana
Retrigger first and last joker for 2 hands

Vortex - 6 Mana
+1 discard

Demonic Ritual - 16 Mana
+1 joker slot, and open 2 spectral packs

Divine Blessing - 10 Mana
Debuff boss blind, 1/2 cards played during it get seals (not affected by oa6)

Some jokers that work with this

Spark Orb - Common
Whenever you cast a spell that costs more than 4 mana, +5 mult

Wizard Tower - Common
Spells above the cost of 4 cost 1 less, -1 handsize

Flying Broomstick - Uncommon
+15 chips per mana held

Apprentice - Uncommon
Gain +1 mana on completion of ante

Cursed Tome - Rare
-1 consumable slot, you can play 2 spells per blind

Wizard Council - Rare
Every spell cast, .1x mult per mana cost

Because you receive so little mana, and because demonic ritual is so powerful, there is literally no reason to cast any other spell

And so this just reduces to balatro except you get an extra Joker slot in antes four and eight

Also, how will opening a spectral pack work inside of a blind?

what if you have like 3 slots for spells, and every ante they get randomized

and spells have rarities so actually getting demonic ritual is hard

#

you could probably also come up with a few vouchers too, ones to increase spell slot capacity by 1 or sth
