This game has a LOT of clicks, I have an idea to help reduce that while also making it a bit more engaging to select your cards.
The concept is basically keyboard modifiers for card selecting shortcuts.
Examples:
Shift+Click: Select every card in between two selected cards.
Shift+Click Example: I'm running a straight strat. I've sorted by rank. I click the my Ace, then shift+click my ten card, and I now have a straight.
Alt+Click: Select like rank.
Alt+Click Example: I'm running a full house strat. I currently have three kings and two jacks. I Alt+Click one king, and then Alt+Click one Jack, immediately selecting the full house.
Control+Click: Select like suit.
Control Click Example: I'm running a flush strat. I currently have six club cards available. I Control+Click my Ace of clubs, and the other four highest club cards are immediately selected.
With the above examples we're talking about saving 3-4 clicks per hand, potentially dozens of clicks per blind, hundreds per game, and thousands of clicks per hour.. all while maintaining the integrity of the game.
Has this already been suggested? Are there any downsides to this?
