This plays into the idea of Evolution (evolving cards into stronger and more able cards), natural selection (you get to pick which ones evolve) and in order to bring a 2 all the way to a Jack it'll take a VERY long time, playing into the idea of evolution taking millions of years

More so to play on the "Pinnacle" of evolution idea, though I also do think letting it go ham without a limit would make it way better
also allow to downgrade an ace into a 2 should the player want it
