But I do get that Red Seals have a different "parameter" of value when compared to joker duplicates

i mean this is still max 1 red seal per round and costs you a discard every time
its like trading card, but red seal instead of consistent destroying, but tbf if we are comparing direct joker to spectral value, the red seal spectral adds 1 red seal as well, and immolate does 5 destroys, and also hanged man exists so its hard to put a clear defining line on it

I think this makes it too easy to get red seals, and I’m not a big fan of adding specific seals like this. Maybe if it’s a random seal and it has some slightly tougher condition I’d be down for it

i should clarify
consistent way to get red seals
certificate is random and standard packs are 9 out of 10 times dogshit never worth picking, also both of them add new cards rather than change old ones, which leads to your deck being flooded with unneeded cards unless you make all those red seal ones you get strength'd up to a proper rank and given an enhancement, and also destroying all the non-red seals from certificate

I think that just shows how busted seals are in general, to the point that modifying existing cards this consistently would be too strong. And how the existing methods have actual downsides/opportunity cost

If it's too broken maybe make it every other round's first discard

You lose a discard, and you get a red seal NEXT BLIND, if anything, make this joker give a random seal, or the card cant appear for the rest of the ante
