And if not, are there plans to make it compatible in the future?

I've been trying to figure this out, but Steam Deck doesn't seem to ever be mentioned in the context of the Mod Manager in a way that answers my question.

I see now that the download section has an option for Linux. Thanks. I just read on the 'About' page where it only mentioned Windows and MacOS.

Still, when installing Steammodded on Steam Deck, I have to download the Windows version for some reason, so in the absense of an actual guide on how to get this going, I'm still wary. Gonna have to look more into it.
