Uncommon

When a consumable is created with no room, use it immediately (if possible)

(You are forced to use it even if you don't want to)

red dock
#

Note: When purple seal is discarded and when hand with vagabond played and in every other scenario like this, you will be forced to use created consumable BEFORE drawing new cards

#

yeah this is admittedly worth a joker slot

#

i'm afraid that it takes away some skill of managing consumables

Yeah, i love that part

#

it's pretty cool

#

yeah I'll upvote

dire star

how many consumables can this proc?

red dock
# dire star how many consumables can this proc?

How many would be created, one by one. Planets from blue seal would just apply instantly, Tarot you would play one by one with remaining hand and you would not know what next Tarots is (if theres any). I mean you cant really create that much of them, at much 3 with Vagabond if you not breaking game with multiple of Blueprint and at most 5 from purple seals with is very unlikely too

#

sorry i wasn't clear
how many consumables are eligible to instatrigger

red dock
#

Minority of Tarots, it seems

dire star
#

I guess minority of tarots, all planets, majority of spectrals

#

Tarots and Planets are strictly good but I like that with Sixth Sense there's a risk of pulling Ankh and ending your entire run

red dock
#

I wasnt clear too, probably. ALL consumables can be created this way, but some of them are just happening, and some of them require you to choose, where are they to happen. So, if the Star is created, you choose up to 3 card and they are converted

Yes

#

Can still sell Jokers, tho

What would happen if I discarded 5 purple seals with a showman and won the hanged man lottery, without any cards left I can't play or discard to draw more

#

Crack situation but worth pondering

sullen roost
jagged birch
#

Fair enough I do feel like that requires some godawful luck

sullen roost
#

lets consider

#

to get 5 purple seal discard at the same time with showman alone is fucking insane set up already

#

but to get this

#

there are 22 tarot cards

#

meaning you need to get 5 1 in 22s back to back

#

thats 1 in 5,153,632

jagged birch
#

Ok ponder this, two séances and a straight flush for that double immolate

sullen roost
#

lemme see

jagged birch
#

The easiest way to brick your game with this would be drawing a hanged man low on cards during the snake

#

The serpent?

#

I forget the name

sullen roost
#

there are 18 spectral cards, but the soul and black hole are excluded, so 16

#

so 2 1 in 16s

#

thats around 1 in 256

jagged birch
#

That's not so bad

sullen roost
#

which is unlikely but still way more common in comparison to the lottery odds of doing it with hanged man

jagged birch
#

Local thunk put this into the game I need the kind of tomfoolery that comes with this injected into my bloodstream

sullen roost
#

i mean hell

#

you dont need bullshit from this idea

#

2 immolate is possible with normal consumable slot count

jagged birch
#

Oh theoretically this could brick your game another way

#

Just keep drawing empereors lol

sullen roost
#

or showman

#

except in this you intentionally brick it yourself instead of a random 1 in 256 chance

jagged birch
#

If you kept drawing empereors for eternity the game would never stop auto using tarot cards, I guess until you also draw enough hanged man and lose that way ?

#

Using this infinite empereor machine, could you make a Turing machine? Each time an empereor is played it's like advancing the pointer by one step, and the change to be applied to the state of the machine is whatever the other tarot you drew does to your deck

sullen roost
#

since its not that likely for emporer to draw another emporer

#

around 1 in 11 chance i think?

jagged birch
#

Imagine the fortune teller value though

#

This is a very entertaining idea I like it

dire star
jagged birch
#

that would be an exception to the usual behavior no? unless the game is coded so that when you reach 0 drawn cards it automatically draws more?

#

unsure of how that's actually implemented

dire star
#

yes, there is a failsafe that does exactly that
