I like the idea! Basically just makes your hand score twice as much at the cost of losing 25-50% theoretically obtainable score + -1$ every cash-out
also your math is off, this almost never costs 50% of theoretical score
you’d need 2 hands for that
Yeah but sometimes thats the case
It happened for me
this is fairly generic 2x i dont know if i like it at 1 hand
maybe -2 hands 2x mult?
i dont want precentage hands removed but 2 hands feel costly enough usually that the 2x would be fine
yeah generally you'll have 4 hands, so the -2 on hands and the X2 Mult cancel out
and it working well with extra hands is fine
a joker being able to be worked around is fine
Should be uncommon
I would take it over troubadour which also has -1 hand for a decent upside
It is balanced as is, seeing double is arguably easier to manage and still sucks.
Should be rare
Seeing double is fine
Not op but not bad either
It's similar to the duo
but troubador has a certain playstyle its associated with, in which case is really strong
this card is more generic
I can agree it feels generic enough to be a common
But I feel XMult jokers in general should be uncommon or rarer
An X2 mult is an X2 mult, and since it triggers after jokers you probably won't need that extra hand 🙂
Cavendish and photograph are the only common Xmult jokers
But cavendish feels uncommon because of how u get it to appear
And photograph triggers before jokers
yea but i've made it my mission to try and create valid xmult commons
because its allows for really intresting card ideas
but its just a nightmare to balance
i feel like mabye 1.75x would be better in this case because its still higher then a poly but not quite as strong
i just wouldnt wanna go lower then that
