Probably im getting noped, but I think that the cards you select from the packs to add to your deck should be affected by the tarots/spectral cards you have in your consumables area, the same way you can do this with tarot or spectral cards.
So for example, if a pack contains a +4 mult 9, and a normal queen, I could use a Magician from my consumable area to enhance the Queen, and then select it.
#Tarot cards should affect pack cards

Feels really messy and doesn’t really change much gameplay wise. You’d be selecting the card before it’s even in your deck and I’m not a fan
but why wouldn't you just buy the card then magician it when it pops up next?
The same reason why players use consumables when opening a tarot or spectral pack and not after...
You can select cards before there are in your deck in the base game.
Maybe Im not understanding your take
In the game you’re just selecting them as confirmation to add to your deck, you shouldn’t be able to enhance a card in a pack and then not add it to your deck
I mean, you can buy a joker, hex it, and the sell it. If you want to waste a consumable then waste it
Technically tarot cards require the cards to be in your hand
Cards from standard packs aren't yet in your hand, while Arcana Packs draw a hand
Mmm thats a good point, but I dont see that as an important reason of why you cant enhance cards on the packs, as long as you can select them, you could enhance them
my main reason for upvoting this is that it's fun and doesn't impact the game too much, but fits with the mechanics of the game
In that case, wheel should affect jokers inside buffoon packs
Wait maybe I'm stupid
would be fun, too
You could cryptid an op card you like (red seal glass) from a Mega Pack, and get 2 copies of it
They just like stay at the screen, the same way it does when you cryptid a card in a pack
yeah but there isn't room for them to appear
so the cards you can select and the copies all get squished into some pseudo-hand thing???
yeah and you'd still just be able to select one or two (depending on what kind of pack was opened) so it would be a dumb idea to use cryptid there
Mmm the description doesnt say anything about adding the cards to your deck
yep, that's how I remembered it
