Balatro update feature:
JOKER EVOLUTIONS

  • In this update, we bring you powerful upgrades for your jokers; EVOLUTIONS are a new way to play the game by enhancing already owned jokers

  • Once owned, you can take your evolved jokers into the casino by selecting a maximum of 5. Evolved jokers have a higher drop rate in shops

  • To use evolutions, you must place your evolved jokers in the first 2 joker slots. Keep in mind that they are not evolved if not in the designated slots! Once active, the jokers gain clownly powers.

  • The first evo slot is unlocked at Jimbo level 5 and the second evo slot is unlocked at Jimbo level 15

  • With this update, we'll be releasing 3 evolutions to start off with:

  • Platinum card (Credit card): While owned, all purchases are now $1 cheaper.

  • Hypernova (Supernova): number of played hands from all hand types are counted towards mult given.

  • Astral summit (Mystic summit): 15 + (number of starting discards x 5) when 0 discards remaining.

In addition, we'll be adding the joker pass in the January update. We know this is a smaller update, but this is all we have for you all now. Happy chipping!
