The mod would revolve around adding basic Shin Megami Tensei battle mechanics into Balatro. I'm looking for coders and artists, I don't have much to my individual skillset aside from solidifying ideas but I'll try to contribute as much as I can wherever I can.

I aim to create a new consumable type, that being skill cards of the basic Shin Megami Tensei elemental skills.
These skill cards will act as consumables to use against blinds, taking off a percentage of the score requirement depending on the strength of the specific skill.
Each blind would have randomly assigned resistances and weaknesses, these will make the skills either cover more or cover less of the score requirement.

The specifics can be discussed if one is interested, one would only need a basic understanding of the battle mechanics to contribute properly so don't be discouraged if you don't know much

If this basic goal is met then more regarding this mechanic may be considered in the future, like jokers and vouchers and the like.

oh yeah, I did have a few ideas laying around (I'm not exactly a coder or artist) abt something shin megami tensei related that adds 4 skill slots to certain jokers (or a joker that's altered with a certain spectral or smth)

I suppose in a sense certain jokers could have their chips/mult increase if they also have certain skill cards

The least I need is one artist and one coder who knows how to make an inventory area separate from jokers and regular consumables
Preferably more so not everything is put onto them but I'll take what I can get
