the reasoning behind this present is because triangle told me to join the event so i kinda wanted to make a small token of gratitude but it ended up looking more horrifying than anything ever concieved and i didn't knew how to fix it without not making it look like john balatro

the red gem is a ruby reference but she can't see that unfortunately

Is it that it crashes a lot or just that you don't get the gameplay mechanics regarding the presents?

my bad: its crashing everytime i finish the first boss blind.

the menu loads,i can look at the the like in game mod menu thing.however everytime i clear the boss blind right after scoring/payout is done it crashes.

Additionally it seems to have another different crash if i run it as the only mod i have enabled besides steammod and lovely. I am able to provide both the error logs for these.

I've noticed that when Lost Edition is installed alongside this mod the game crashes whenever you get a joker

not sure which mod the issue lies with though

iunno

but yeah i figured i wanted to start enjoying the mods in nitty gritty ways rather than my normal "just play it for 15 minutes or like one night" phase so i legit could enjoy a lot of the details i would otherwise miss, and this happened to be the first.

it was very interesting seeing how the balance choices of different devs compared to each other and the soft "eternal" of presents made it kind of neat to not like just reroll my problems away and have either adapt or find a way to deal with it

my best 1:1 item comparision for example is this

anyways i would like to thank all the devs for making this it was really enjoyable, i used it as a bit of a post christmas extenstion of the holidays cause i was still feeling festive and it was a blast.

Really glad you enjoyed! The “soft-eternal” philosophy was a huge revelation while organizing and made it really have an interesting gameplay loop. Kitty Socks I think is one of my favorite ones mechanically so very cool to see you agree

my favorite of yours was the pendant cause unlessl im completely off point it uses the OoS Zelda Season Icons? which im very nostilgaic for,gameplay wise the runic tablet had a chance of allowing me to thin my deck but 9/10 times i completely forgot to account(or i had another deleting card gift or something)on it and it ended up just looked at my deck a bit later with "where did my deck go"

Evgast boxes:
Toy box: is very cute and excellent for removing harmful presents from list/while i didnt use it for this maybe also ensuring "The star" item is balanced properly in the center.
FcukBox:I really love Time fkcu as edmund's games and its opening theme. its a nice balanced way of removing ante's and allowing you to dig deeper under the tree and i do wonder how many lines there are for it considering it seems like there was a new one each time.I do wish i could use it more than ~2 times before it became unreasonable to use again but everyone wants to be OP in balatro.
Decatone:While not my gacha of choice(LIMBUS COMPANYYYY is mine) it is neat to see 1999 reference and the simple 'free pack' is extremely helpful if a little overpowered imo.
Chest:Sadly the least useful for me, i typically dont hold consumables often and burn them quickly or sell them. so I sadly didnt make much use of this.
Companion Cube:This was a great little item that helped get some nice Xmult going and always caused me to pivot harder to hearts to keep fueling it than i really should. Also god forbid If i had Runic Tablet my deck would just be thanos snapped away.
