honestly, i think the early game of a run (aka the first 2-3 maybe 4th antes) are just too boring since you don't really get much to do
i would love some kind of toggle to start you off with a nice bundle of cash (15$? 20$? something along those lines) then gives you some sort of mega shop right before jumping straight into the 3rd or 4th ante
the megashop is basically a compensation for the shops you would've missed, so assuming you jumped into ante 3, you'd have 5 free rerolls (to make it like 5 shops) 3 vouchers to select from, and a whole load of packs to buy from, whatever numbers they are, the idea is that if you do the skip, you still end up at a similar level by the time you reach the same point

Anyway my two cents are that this seems like a silly side mode for fun but should not allow for unlocks or any sort of progression

as a challange tho sure

dor context every roguelike ive had with shortcuts is either harder when you take that starting shortcut (gungeon) or explicitly seperates full runs from shortcuts (necrodancer and spelunky 2)

so no most devs dont want you to skip the early game

and i dont know why you would in this game either as ante 1-3 are like entirely not that different from later antes (different boss pool and lower econ and thats it)
