Burglar+
I don’t think this does the same thing as burglar
Your compensated with options instead of hands
Is it
Oh god yeah
oh ok
Not really
can I get an explanation
Yeah but hand size
+9 when blue stake gets reworked
probably isn't helpful enough outside of baron or midas
This is interesting
No, it gives you a much larger chance of getting your stuff you want to play
you draw 1-2 less cards for each discard though
Should I make it 5
Or 4
4 is probably a lot
this is one of those things where you can't tell hoe powerful it is
Its just like the serpent If you spend your all discards 1 card at a time
yea which makes it bad for bigger hands
i probably only take this if i have a ton of gold and im already winning
this concept just doesn't have legs. and that's okay, they can't all be winners. back to the kitchen
Keep in mind that if this gives +6, you don't draw after your first hand played since you'll be above max cards still
This is hard to apply outside of "Held in Hand"
I know this is optimal for small hands, but i dont see how this is bad for big hands
Doesnt having more cards available make it easier for you to play big hands? Or atleast Guide you towards them?
it's good if you just wanna play one big hand and win the round
So its good for big hands, and better for small hands - and everyone still agrees its a bad idea?
you see less cards so its less likely to draw a big hand
like your 4oak rank
a specific big hand, yes. any big hand, no
what i mean is, at the start/ middle of a run your deck isnt trimmed for a single hand, but at that time any big hand works usually
for ante 8 beating i believe it would be enough
but theres the gambit drawback of course, making it flavorful and interesting
im just frustrated its become the norm here to simply not think about a suggestion before saying it "has no legs" the same way you expect the AP to have thought about every singe nitpick possible
yup!
mm
well, it depends
nah
it should draw 4-5 cards to hand per discard lost
then i like it
This seems insanely op for high card runs
Buffed it yeah
its better to just discard for the cards you want
cause with hc you can always discard 5 so how does this help
Lock in twin
See the vision
if u talking high score you gotta lock in
A minimum of 8 additional cards to your hand, sounds pretty strong to me
Now imagine all of those are steel cards
it's also harder to get large hands if you can't use your hands to dig
One bad draw can basically completely screw you
