Stake Effect Order Change

Consider changing the order in which stake effects take place:

  • White Stake: Base Difficulty
  • Red Stake: Required score scales faster for each Ante.
  • Green Stake: Small Blind gives no reward money.
  • Black Stake: 30% chance for Jokers in shops or booster packs to have an Eternal sticker (cannot be sold or destroyed)
  • Blue Stake: Require score scales even faster for each Ante.
  • Purple Stake: 30% chance for Jokers in shops or booster packs to have a Perishable sticker (Debuffed after 5 rounds)
  • Orange Stake: -1 Discard
  • Gold Stake: 30% chance for Jokers in shops or booster packs to have a Rental sticker (Costs $3 per round, can be bought for $1)

If all Stakes are defeated for a deck:

  • Custom Stake (Uses Jimbo Stake sprite): Stakes with the following effects of your choice:
    • No Blind Rewards (Small and/or Big)
    • Required Score Scaling (Small or Large)
    • Eternal Jokers
    • Perishable Jokers
    • Rental Jokers
    • Booster Packs Cost $1 Per Ante
    • -1 Discard
    • -1 Hand
    • -1 Booster Pack Slot

Gain an achievement if Custom Stake is cleared with ALL effects chosen (not required for Completionist++).

Alternate Stake Effect Idea

After clearing White Stake for a deck, choose from one of the following effects to apply to the next stake (will apply to future stakes):

  • Required score scales faster for each ante
    • Required score scales even faster for each ante
  • Small Blind gives no reward
  • Eternal Jokers
  • -1 Discard
  • Perishable Jokers
  • Rental Jokers

If a stake isn't cleared, the player can choose a different effect to apply to future stakes. Gold Stake will have all effects applied. If a profile has everything unlocked, then the player must choose which effects to apply when selecting from Red to Orange Stake in a deck.
