  • reverse fool: Creates a copy of the least used Tarot or Planet card.

  • reverse death: Select 2 cards, convert them into 2 random cards

reverse card ideas have been done like twice, both from Entropy and Ortalab (there's probably more but i'm not aware of them)
also a lot of these are just vanilla cards but exceptionally worse, since the effects they provide are just more often than not detrimental or pointless (like, what utility does reverse hermit serve?)
i think these could be improved but as of now, a lot of these are just not good

It was an on the fly thought that I just had like 10 minutes ago so it's not really refined LOL

Just kind of an on-the-spot thing I thought of, trying to relate them back to their upright terrors of as well

It mostly came from the idea that I'm surprised there's no inverted strength card to allow you to lower a card's rank

Whether it's an actual reverse strength or another card entirely

I imagine reverse strength since it's the exact same thing as a normal strength

It is worth keeping in mind that reverse tarot cards usually come with negative connotations behind them

Such as the upright fool implying beginnings and fresh starts, taking your own life and making your own path, whereas the reverse fool is about feeling lost and unguided with no purpose or goal

So I did try and relate them back to the idea of their reverse tarot being an inverse version of their upright selves like an actual tarot

What about the idea of removing suits but keeping ranks like reverse tower or world etc

Though I do like the idea of blank cards from reverse tower not giving any chips but you can still use them for straights and flushes since they count for any suit or rank

So you could do K Q __ 10 9 for a straight
Or 4 diamonds and a blank for a flush

You won't get any points for the blank card itself but you'll still get the points for all the other cards

Wild ranks for straights are notoriously very hard to implement. IIRC, there's a prototype for it, but it still needs a lot of work to be possible.
