#Rebrushed Joker: Uncommon

astral pack?
This would be usable if you could choose to reroll and I think 1 in 3 is a bit harsh
I mean the things like Hex, Wrath and such. I couldn't spell lol
What about 1 out of 2 chance?
It would reroll the hand given when you open up a pack if you so choose. Glad you like that concept
...wrath?
Anyway I think you mean a Spectral Pack
seems pretty useless, especially considering you have no choice in it
1/10
Yeh you would have a choice. If you drew a bad hand you can redraw it and hope you get the card you want to death or copy for example
Its main purpose and gimmick is that it's meant for deck fixing and can often aid with early game to mid game. For example imagine if you drawed cards you didn't want. If the 1 out of 2 chance triggers you can reroll the hand that's given to you for that pack
I fixed it.
Nice
how do you reroll it?
sell activation?
you need a trigger
You would click the joker and there would be a 1 out of 2 chance it would trigger. If it fails it would just do the nope like wheel of fortune. You don't have to sell it. The card would shuffle About like how invisible joker would when it's ready to be activated.
add that to the description too
also “clicking” would be a weird mechanic
but okay
How would you recommend it being implemented?
well firstly it needs a better trigger
wording can be better too
and the whole 1 in 2 thing might be able to be changed a little
but i think its fine
i’d say make it guaranteed and a sell effect
“When opening a spectral or arcana pack, sell this joker to reroll hand”
Yeh that could work.
also “reroll joker” is a pretty bland name
i’m sure there’s a better idea
“wash the cards” is an official term which can be used well
Its honestly a placeholder name. I'll think of something
Anyways I fixed the description.
Would that be better?
Rebrushed Joker: Uncommon
i really dislike how you don’t get a choice but otherwise it’s fine
and the 1 in 2 makes it even worse
probably would never take because of the fact i can’t control when it rerolls
lost cause atp
the issue with this joker is that using a jokers effect cant add new menu options
functionally thats like adding a new mechanic
the only way i could see rerolling packs work is if you skip a packs contents completely open another pack of the same type once per round
basically your suggestion has to use buttons already present in game
i think an easy way to do something similar to this would instead to just make it so opening packs extends your handsize by a big number, like 4 or 5
it lets you see more of your hand when opening spectral/tarot packs, wouldn't be rng reliant, and wouldn't need to introduce new ui elements
plus a lot of the art stuff is already handsize themed so it'd fit in yknow
Yeh that's probably better
@bold latch im getting Deja Vu from this
Curated deck omg.
