It doesn't seem too gamebreaking to me. If you have any arguments tell em

vital void
#

because oops is a passive joker

#

blueprint doesnt copy passive jokers

#

drunkard and juggler also cant be copied

#

as theyre also passive

is burglar passive? bc it can be copied

burglar for flavour takes away your discards at the start of round and gives you hands

#

its active because of flavour reason

#

"put your hands up"

#

so burglar is active

#

blueprint compatibility isnt about being too strong. its about making sense

#

so blueprint doesnt copy jokers that are passive (always active) or have card destruction effects (cant destroy the same card twice)

it just occured to me that blueprint/brainstorm's ability is passive, but it's compatible because it's always copying an active ability...

is passive the only thing determining whether something can be copied?

Although it's weird because it can't copy "end of round" effects, I guess it's because you can't end a round twice, but you also can't end shop twice, so idk

end of round and the scoring phase are seperate so localthunk doesnt want quick time events in balatro when using blueprint and brainstorm

vital void
#

yeah thats unintentional

#

and probably getting removed

#

its also the gold cards being end of round and not mime

Does blueprint not copy passive effects for technical reasons? Because I know the way that passive effects like Juggler work internally is kind of odd

vital void
#

maybe but either way its fine imo

#

there is also probably some coding fuckery thatll happen with how passives work id guess
