Happened after quitting a fresh game too quickly. I received this error every time I attempt to PLAY a game on this profile. Profile can play on other computers just not my main. Other profiles can play on my main computer. I really don't want to lose progression. Thanks in advance.

Try deleting save.jkr from C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Balatro\<whatever your profile number is>

that won't delete your profile, only your current run

I appreciate the help. The computer I am unable to play on is a mac. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing both the game and steam.

Ah. You should probably include that in the tags. Regardless, you can still do the thing I said, it's just at a different path

The save.jkr file should be at $HOME/Library/Application Support/Balatro/<whatever your profile number is> according to https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Balatro#Save_game_data_location
