Art of Jimbo with combed hair and a suit.

Rare.

1 in 2 chance to turn a played non-scoring card into one of the scoring cards.

Example: played hand Abalatroheart 10blatrospade 10❤️ 3balatrodiamond . The joker triggers after the cards are scored. The A balatroheart turns into a 10blatrospade . Enhancements, editions and seals are also copied.

Makes for a very powerful tool to deckfix. I was thinking 1 in 4 chance but then it'd be too weak.

this is basically a much more powerful DNA

DNA adds cards to the deck, this turns one into another. It being chance based means you might actually lose the card you want to copy, and it's no longer in your hand. It also is not blueprint compatible.

thats not how blueprint compatibility works unfortunately

#

its based on passive/end of round/destruction effects being not allowed

#

every other active effect is fully copied

#

and this is active on hand played so itd be blueprint compatible

#

also just dont play a non scoring card you want to keep

#

blueprint compatibility was never a balance thing its to avoid quick time events existing in balatro

#

or just effect that dont make sense to repeat in the case of destruction effects

That's the point. Even if you blueprint it, it'd copy the same card again on the same card again.

#

Unlike DNA which makes an extra card.

then the wording makes no sense

#

since it never says its a specific unscored card

#

just a unscored card in hand

#

Not in hand

#

A played unscoring card

#

I made the example for that reason

#

You play 4 cards, two score, and one of the two non-scoring cards is turned.
