Not taking sock at all
Or wait I guess it depends on what your deck looks like, if you have a lot of glass cards maybe get rid of a chad. With that said you need to have a LOT of glass cards to justify that, to the point where you can get a four of a kind/five of a kind/flush five several times per blind consistently
If you got a lot of enhancements on your face cards remove a Chad
I know this run is probably long gone but yeah it depends on your deck and hand situation- the question is which joker gives you more triggers, and whether you can afford more triggers at the cost of risking more glass cards breaking.
one chad gives only 2 extra card triggers, meanwhile sock, best case, gives 5 extra card triggers
so if you deck can handle it and if you're playing a bunch of glass cards anyway, sock is much more powerful
also just out of curiosity and cuz I have some time to kill, I want to look at the best ratio of triggers to instances of x2, assuming a perfect played hand of 5 red seal glass cards
-
3 chad 2 photo (copy one chad): 10 + 6 = 16 triggers (10 from playing red seals, 6 from chads), each with 2 instances of x2 (from photos), a total of x2ˆ32 (least optimal option)
-
2 chad 3 photo (copy one photo): 10 + 4 = 14 triggers, each with 3 instances of x2, a total of x2ˆ42 (from your current setup, this is optimal for scoring)
-
2 chad 1 sock 2 photo (copy one chad): 10 + 5 + 4 = 19 triggers, each with 2 instances of x2, a total of x2ˆ38 (suboptimal setup if you swap a chad for a sock)
-
1 chad 2 sock 2 photo (copy one sock): 10 + 10 + 2 = 22 triggers, each with 2 instances of x2, a total of x2ˆ44 (better, but not the best)
-
1 chad 1 sock 3 photo (copy one photo): 10 + 5 + 2 = 17 triggers, each with 3 instances of x2, a total of x2ˆ51 (most optimal option)
