warp zone feels too modded and treat basket and bag of tricks is insanely op for tarot blocking

#

the rest are fine i suppose

Still bonkers

#

Negative consumables are insane because you can block out an insane amount of tarots and basically have unlimited power

or get your planets more often as well

The reason it doesn't happen with perkao is because of how it picks at random making it harder to block out things the more you put in

#

my issue with warp zone is that tackling blinds in a different order does feel very modded as the current system of small big and boss blind is very deliberate

#

promotion and special offer are fine tho theyre fun i guess

It was the first one I came up with by a lot so it’s more out there

#

Ok so I have 2 ideas for balancing Treat Basket and Bag ‘o Tricks

#
  1. Bring the odds down closer to normal negative odds but probably still a bit higher (BoT would still have the higher odds)
regal flicker
#

Anyodds doesn't really work

or 2) Keep the higher negative chance but have one or both vouchers give a -1 consumable slots penalty

Probably just the base, if both had the downside you would be at 0 slots (if you don't have a crystal ball) and the only way to get tarots is if they are negative, so it's much worse than the base voucher

What advantage is there even to challenging blinds out of order

Also if the big blind has a double tag and the small blind has a tag you want to double

narrow turtle
#

also it would suck if you bought the voucher and just didn't find any negative consumables

regal flicker
#

Negative consumables are better than Negative jokers

#

Especially if they were at 30%

#

You can block out everything but the fool, emperor and judgement and boom sift through those forever

narrow turtle
#

Also I lowered the odds to 2%

regal flicker
#

Not really especially if you have tarot typhoon

narrow turtle
#

Honestly if you can get negative copies all but three tarots you've earned it

#

It feels fair for something with that kinda commitment to be rewarding

regal flicker
#

Also then if you wanna argue that its not powerful unless you have them all then its a voucher thats useless 90% of them time unless its busted

narrow turtle
#

I didn't say that?

narrow turtle
#

just that it's not as strong as negative jokers

regal flicker
#

Which is kinda wrong in my opinion

#

Being able to block one more tarot with crystal ball is already incredible

#

Negative jokers are usually common ones that don't really help

#

Or you spend a hand size

#

That's less powerful than the consistent blocking of a negative consumable

narrow turtle
#

Crystal ball is a tier 1 voucher tho while antimatter is tier 2 with a useless tier 1, so the game clearly values consumable slots over joker slots

regal flicker
#

Joker slots and negative are different

narrow turtle
#

fair

#

How much value can you really get from blocking 1 tarot tho?

regal flicker
#

It really does make getting deck fixing from tarot packs so much better

#

Also works for planets

#

And that means you only have one planet that can't be included in a pack

narrow turtle
#

But if you're using your slots for blocking then you can't really use tarots in a blind

#

Although I guess that's what negatives are for

#

You also just don't get to use them

regal flicker
#

Well yes but thats kinda negligible when you can use more tarots in the packs
