I would start with a Joker call Jarz, that gives mult x1 the number of different suits when flush or straight is made but maybe that too hard to code, tell what your code experience

I mean I've been using Lua for like ~8 months, and total programming for 7 years

Damn that say, I got some wicked ideas you can implement:

1 - Welder, if a steel card is play in a pair, double it score
2 - Lawyer, if you score with a debuff card, this joker gain mult 0.5x
3 - Food Delivery, create a negative Popcorn, Ice-cream, banana or seltzer at end of boss blind
4 - Outback hunter (think like crocodile dundee) at star of a round pick a random suit, if you score that suit plus another give mult x3
5 -Bookie, when you sell a rare Joker gain 0.5x mult, double if you sell negative joker
