Buterscotch pie falls into the pitfalls of your other légendaires that are tied to ante

I like the idea of the hand played being a reference to the food item, as well as the idea of it becoming a unisicle like the game
Nice early econ, but has the obvious downsides to curb it
Downside?
You can get a solid solid chuck of cash per instance of it

The downside of the joker expiring after a while. Then again, maybe it shouldn't be a "1 in five chance to destroy itself" but rather a "destroys itself after x amount of uses"

I like short term jokers, and ante jokers, I CRAVE MORE
5 dollars a hand isn't the craziest thing in the world, especially when you take other mechanics into mind. Especially when you lock it to a specific hand, and you have the card expire after a certain amount of uses. I feel like you would have a valid argument between mail and rebate, to-do list, and bisicle.

When a to do list is on hc you get like 20$
Which is why id honestly go for "is a high card/ pair" rather than "contains a high card/pair"

are you caring at all about balancing these
also about this. getting good econ to setup interest once can help a run for far longer than youd think
i take eternal to do lists all the time for good early econ

and whats so bad about a good ability? so long as you have some checks and balances, then your good
ive seen much crazier abilities before. an econ joker with a fun gimmick that expires sounds fun.

its just kinda boring and outshines an existing joker
and i dont think we need more basic jokers we have enough tbh

in general try and look to generally middle of the road base game jokers for power levels for your ideas
if youre making an economy joker base it off of faceless and golden joker not rebate for example
and remember that for your scaling flat mults that they have serious competition
ive seen a couple you made with very big requirements and then like very low mult gains
yea comparing ideas to similar vanilla jokers could help you figure out strength
like your mettaton vs wee, its not even close

This idea is prolly trash tbh
it also requires the game to same every round save in the background which might lag the game a bit
I mean it saves after every interaction
Itd just have to store a lot of saves
And thats no cool

the game usually has to keep only 1 save but this is like 7 saves which even if small seems ridiculous and testing the game for no apparant reason except one joker to function
