I am stuck and have been stuck for months - no progress. When a roguelike has no progress people stop playing. I can't beat specific decks and I can't get stuntman. I really need help and a proper calculator integrated into the game is needed. I don't play this on pc and am not at all interested in 1v1; so modding to my knowledge since I am a mobile player is not possible. I just want to enjoy the game but if there is no progress it is not enjoyable; I play mobile on android or PS5. What do I do? On plasma blue stake I have been losing to the final boss repeatedly for weeks. This is one example. Red deck - blue stake: same. Not everyone is a balatro savant, some of us aren't that good but love the game. Make it more approachable.

I do. I can't progress. It's been months. I play daily, watch videos, I have hit a wall.

I don't even know who that is. Is it possible there are many people who just hit a wall and can't figure it out? Is it possible the game isn't perfect and people are making honest suggestions because they don't know what to do when they hit a wall?

by the way modders have modded calculators into the game to help. This is absolutely a reasonable request to the developer for people who do not play on PC. If I keep getting to the boss and can't beat the boss for months and I have two legendary jokers (in my last run) and I still can't beat it after going to a calculator website (which predicted the score wrongly) - perhaps there is a real problem to overcome? I know I am not the best player and others have done it, that is the point. How about helping people get there, that is the reason for the enhancement request.

A roguelike that kills progress gets deleted, it is the very nature of the game. Perhaps want people to play your game. I am not asking for it to be easy, just reasonable. Losing every hand every day for two months is not reasonable.

Also if you’re losing on plasma deck just don’t play plasma yet. But if you’re consistently losing on every deck then that’s a sign you need to experiment around more

You could also ask around in the discord for some tips and help, there’s always tons of people willing to help you improve

Thank you for giving a real answer. Thing is, I went to do that just now and I cannot even find the enter the gungeon skin. I know that game, I went to all the decks and cannot find it, even under the diamonds section. I am on android. What am I missing? Options, Customize Deck...nothing for enter the gungeon. Thank you.

you know the values are lowered to 350 for small blind

if you reset or make a new game it will reset the code again and revert to original values

so it didn't work then. Maybe I am not able to kick out and back in less than .35 seconds? I click on deck, it brings up window, I have to close the deck, I do that 7 times. Then I go to otions and click main menu. Then I click play and play again which is a continue.

I struggle with Blue Stake.

I think you should try out more different strategies.

Blue Stake especially makes playing High Card and Pair the dominant strategy, so it might be worth trying to build toward things like Steel Cards, Shoot The Moon, photochad, etc
