The current showman effect is too niche to be used in anything other than endless set seed. I think It should be reworked to duplicate consumables but not turning them negative. Basically a perkeo lite. And also I think that negative jokers should have a current showman effect. (Eg: you have negative blueprint then the blueprints will still appear unless you get a regular blueprint then they will stop appearing)

Well yeah, it’s still relying on rng for the right jokers to appear which is kinda a way some players play the game
calling the joker in its current state “niche” is a stretch
It works on any deck (okay maybe not painted deck) with any hand type
And like I said, it’s only really worth taking if your current joker lineup is fine for a while
Typically you want to take better jokers or multiple copies of the same joker, so like… why not take showman

The biggest reason Showman is a detrimental Joker is because it stops you from improving your odds in shop/packs from blocking tarots and planets
